In Town to Tour

A friend of mine is visiting this weekend from Washington, D.C. and has been tapping me for tourist information (I love it when my friends to that...I really do!). He already has a great list of things he wants to do, and that list includes the "Inside CNN Studio Tour", which is pretty fascinating.

Have a look at my previous post for details. But let me say that I've been twice and was blown away both times. It's uber cool to see how the world's news is packaged and shared...and getting to see a media celebrity or two along the way didn't hurt my feelings one bit.

So, looking at the photo, you buy your tickets on the ground floor and then take the escalator—in the white metal railing—to the inside of the globe. That's where the tour starts. And you cover a LOT of ground.

I have a lot of friends who are news junkies—especially the ones from D.C.—and they would absolutely love this tour, one that I recommend for anyone who's ever watched television, actually.

Okay, when you're done here, please visit the wanderlust ATLANTA Facebook Page where you'll find regular announcements of event happenings and a growing library of photos. Thanks for stopping by!
