Lily, Lottie, Luna and the Buddettes

The Sibley Fountain at the Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of my favorite features there...Lily, Lottie, Luna and the Buddettes being the main attraction of the Fountain.

The gunnite fountain was built in 1985, a donation in memory of Helen Montag Ferst. In 1990, local artist Christine Sibley obtained funds to add the ceramic facade and the "Lotus Ladies" who recently underwent restoration—these photos were made just yesterday.

The facade is gorgeous, depicting lotus and other aquatic plants, and the fountain is home to exotic and native aquatic plants in the warmer months, which are just as beautiful.

Right next to the Sibley Fountain is an arbor, complete with benches, that has stunning wisteria covering it...I LOVE wisteria!

If you're a fan of lotus flowers, you're going to love this fountain!

When you visit the Garden, seek out the Sibley Fountain as a photo spot. You'll find it in the Perennial Garden, near the Cafe, Japanese Garden, and the Frog Baby sculpture.

Enjoy your visit to the Garden...it's my favorite place in the City and every visit is beautifully unique.

hard to believe Christine Sibley is gone from us. Died in 1999 age 51- so very sad.
