Green in the Garden

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the most beautifully colorful places in Atlanta. I'd started a series—that I originally started on my personal Facebook profile, but want to continue you and complete here—of color in the Garden.

If you didn't know, the Atlanta Botanical Garden has a rather impressive "Green" mission and program. Did you know that there's a 95,000 gallon cistern under the entrance roadway that catches runoff rainwater that's used to water that end of the Garden, or that the Hardin Visitor Center and parking garage are LEED's certified at the gold level?

A pretty good introduction to the color green in the Garden, yes?

Here we go...

Now head over to the wanderlust ATLANTA Facebook Page for a lot more green in the Garden...it's most prolific color and certainly one of the most beautiful!
